Pakistan Navy Chief held important meetings with Japanese and Egyptian Ambassadors in Islamabad

Pakistan Navy Chief Admiral Amjad Khan Niazi held meetings with ambassadorsof Japan and Egypt; H.E. Mr. Kuninori Matsuda and H.E. Mr. Tarek MohamedDahroug at the Naval Headquarters in Islamabad.

According to the details, during the separate meetings, matters withrespect to mutual interest, regional security, and bilateral collaborationwere discussed.

Earlier today, in an impressive change of command ceremony held at theNaval Central Command Headquarters in Bahrain, Pakistan Navy (PN) assumedthe Command of Multinational Combined Task Force 151 (CTF-151) for the 9thtime.

According to the Spokesperson of PN, this is the 9th time that the PakistanNavy has taken over the command of this important task force responsiblefor counter-piracy operations off the coast of Somalia and Horn of Africaunder the overall ambit of Combined Maritime Forces (CMF). Before Pakistan,the Turkish Navy held the command of CTF-151.

In his address, Commodore Abdul Muneeb said that Pakistan Navy willcontinue to work with the navies of other countries for peace and stabilityin the region.
