Islamabad: Overseas Pakistanis have sent a record remittances under RoshanDigital Account.

According to Spokesperson of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), OverseasPakistanis sent a record remittances of 777.7 million dollars under RoshanDigital Account in one day.

So far, Pakistan has received 13.94billion dollars of remittances underthe digital account. Moreover, Rs.81 million has been invested in the NewPakistan scheme, stated SBP.

Roshan Digital Account enables overseas Pakistanis to open a bank accountdigitally from anywhere outside Pakistan without visiting a branch. It alsopermits account holders to send money into the account
