Israeli authorities Friday warned its nuclear scientists working in itsDimona reactor facility of a possible Iranian retaliation following thekilling of Iran’s top nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh last week.
According to the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation news network, theauthorities have sent warning messages to senior employees, including theformer ones, at the Dimona reactor facility to be cautious in their routineactivities.
Iranian officials held Israel responsible for Fakhrizadeh’s killing vowingnot to keep his death unavenged.
On Thursday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned that Iran maytarget Israeli interests in its neighboring countries.
Earlier on Wednesday, a US official revealed that Israel was behind theassassination of Iran’s top nuclear scientist, adding the US administrationhad known about the attack before it was carried out.
Fakhrizadeh was the fifth prominent Iranian nuclear scientist to be killedsince 2010, with Iran blaming Israel for all the attacks.Source:link
