*Karachi – Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has said that thefarmers’ protest in India against Naredra Modi’s new farm laws is aconcerning situation and Canada will always defend the rights of peacefulprotesters, medialinkhasreported.*

As per details, the Canadian PM has become the first international head ofgovernment to speak out on the matter.

PM Trudeau said, “I would be remiss if I didn’t start by recognising thenews coming from India about the protest by farmers.”

He added, “The situation is concerning. We are all very worried aboutfamily and friends. We know that’s a reality for many of you. Let me remindyou, Canada will always be there to defend the rights of peacefulprotesters.”

He stated that Canada believes in the process of dialogue. “We’ve reachedout through multiple means to the Indian authorities to highlight ourconcerns. This is a moment for all of us to pull together.”

On November 30, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi resisted calls for therepeal of farm reforms that have ignited the biggest protests by farmers inyears around New Delhi.
