LAHORE – Lahore topped the global ranking of cities with the worst airquality on Friday after air quality soared to ‘hazardous’ with an AirQuality Index (AQI) 489.
According to the reports, Lahore had an air quality index of 489 on Friday,which is categorized as “very unhealthy”. Air quality levels this high cancause cardiovascular and respiratory diseases and pose a risk for COVID-19patients
Swiss firm IQair declared the Pakistani city of Lahore as the most pollutedcity in the world.
