Captain of Pakistan T20 cricket team, Babar Azam has become the leading T20runs scorer in 2020.
According to details, Azam has surpassed English batsman Alex Hales as thehighest T20 runs scorer in the ongoing calendar year.
Recently, he played a fantastic innings of 64 runs to help his team CentralPunjab win against Balochistan in the National T20 Cup match in Rawalpindi.
He has also scored three consecutive half-century in the tournament.
The innings took Babar’s total runs tally of T20 runs in this year to 942,the most by any cricketer in 2020.
He is followed by Hales who has scored 895 runs in the year.

This is the second consecutive year when Babar Azam has scored highest runsin T20 format. He finished 2019 with 1607 T20 runs to remain as the leadingruns scorer of the year.
Last week while exclusively speaking in the 26th edition of PCB Podcast,Azam said that Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) deserves a lot of credit forannouncing a full-fledged domestic season.
“National T20 cup has begun very well in Multan. I am hopeful that thepassion and excitement would be the same when the Rawalpindi-leg begins,”he added.
