PM Imran Khan vows to make Pakistan a Super Power

Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan said on Wednesday that the incumbentgovernment aimed at making Pakistan a self-reliant country that will emergeas a global power.

Addressing a seminar on “Resetting and Rebooting Pakistan’s ICT Sector” atNational Defence University in Islamabad, he said that Pakistani youthneeded to be equip with skills.

The event was also attended by Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General QamarJaved Bajwa, Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry,Sindh Governor Imran Ismail and others.

The premier vowed to provide conducive environment to ICT sector as it hasgreat potential for job creation and revenue generation.

He further said that technology can play an important role in strengtheningnational economy. He hoped that Pakistan will emerge as a stable countrydue to policies of the government.

The premier also welcomed the holding of technology related seminar in thecountry.
