Former premier and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) supreme leaderNawaz Sharif has said that Shehbaz Sharif has shown exemplary bravery andboldness and stood by party’s manifesto despite odds.
Speaking during the PML-N’s Central Executive Committee (CEC) meeting viavideo link on Wednesday, Nawaz said: “Shehbaz Sharif served the countrywith honesty and I salute him.”
He added that the former Punjab chief minister worked day and night andestablished power houses to generate electricity in the province.
He highlighted, “I am proud of the PML-N president who stood by his brotherin hard times and did not succumb to government’s pressure.” He said thatthe treatment being meted out to our children and PML-N leaders bygovernment institutions is shameful and condemnable.

“I cannot live like a slave anymore in my country and have decided to livean honourable life,” he remarked. He said, “If people stood against thisgovernment, change will become inevitable.”
