Special Assistant on Climate Change Malik Amin Aslam Khan has said thegovernment’s Ten Billion Tree Tsunami program will undergo an independentthird party evaluation to ensure its transparency and credibility.
Speaking at a ceremony in Islamabad on Monday, he said World Wildlife Fund,Food and Agriculture Organization and International Union for Conservationof Nature are signing an agreement for this purpose.
The Special Assistant said an in-depth planning has been done for the tenbillion tree tsunami project which is now being executed in cooperationwith the provinces.
Amin Aslam Khan recalled the PTI government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwasuccessfully implemented Billion tree tsunami project.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister of State for Climate Change Zartaj Gulsaid Ten Billion Tree Tsunami is a revolutionary program of the PTIgovernment. She was confident that the third party evaluation of theproject will help attract investment in the afforestation.
