Another Islamic country to recognise Israel in exchange for 3 billion grant

Sudan is holding decisive meeting with United States (US) and United ArabEmirates (UAE) to normalize relations with Israel.

According to details, another Islamic country Sudan is asking for billionsin economic assistance in return for agreement with Israel. Reportedly, ifall demands are met, an announcement is expected in upcoming days.

Sudan is among those countries that are possibly inking a deal to normalizeties with Israel, following the diplomatic move made by the United ArabEmirates and Bahrain on Tuesday.

Sudan is seeking a massive economic support package including oil and wheatshipments worth $1.2 billion to deal with recent deadly floods, a $2billion grant to cope with country’s financial crisis and a commitment ofeconomic assistance from UAE and US over the next three years.

The talks with Sudan are lead by Gen. Miguel Correa of White House NationalSecurity Council’s senior director for the Gulf and North Africa andTahnoon Bin Zayed who is serving as UAE’s national security adviser.

Israel had always wished to normalize relations with Sudan due to itsimportant geographic location in the region.

Numerous Arab countries, including Morocco, Sudan and Oman, have beentermed as potential candidates to follow the lead of UAE and Bahrain inwilling to sign deals with Israel.
