Saudi Arabia Ambassador vows to deepen economic ties with Pakistan

ISLAMABAD:Ambassador of Saudi Arabialink Nawaf SaeedAl-Malkiy here on Thursday said that his country wanted to further deepenand strengthen its trade ties with Pakistanlink as both countries have greatpotential to promote bilateral trade in many areas.

He said Pakistanlink possessedeverything for growth and has great potential for businesslink economic growththat needed to be highlighted more effectively to attract foreigninvestors.

He said that Pakistanlink was a veryimportant country for the whole Muslimlink Ummah as it was anuclear link powerand SaudiArabia link wouldstand with it in every critical situation.

He said this while addressing the businesslink duringhis visit link to Islamabadlinklink of Commercelink and Industrylink (ICCI).

Muhammad Ahmed Asiri, Commercial Attach of Saudilink Embassy was alsopresent at the occasion.

The Saudi link envoy saidthat Pakistan link hasgreat potential for tourism and it needed to improve its infrastructure toattract foreign tourists adding said that consistency in policies andconducive environment would further promote local and foreign investment asearlier, in his visit link to Pakistan linkExcellency Prince Muhammad Bin Salman had announced to become Ambassador ofPakistan link and hewas playing that role.

He said that wrong and negative perception about Pakistanlink in foreign worldlink needed to be changedto unlock its real economic potential.

He said that from linkJanuary link 2021, theprocess of exchange link oftrade delegations between Pakistanlink and Saudi Arabialink would berestored that would further improve bilateral trade and economic tiesbetween the two countries.
