Afghan Taliban attack kills Afghan Commander

BAGHLAN: Taliban attack a local uprising unit checkpoint in Baghlan, theattack is reported to have claimed a commander’s life and killing oneanother soldier.

Nazir Najm, Baghlan Governor’s spokesperson told Khaama press, that theclash has taken place today afternoon in the Qaracha area of Barka district.

According to Najm, due to the continuous clashes, a commander and a soldierbelonging to a local uprising unit have been killed, and the battle isstill ongoing.

Supporting units have reached the area, and the Taliban insurgents alsohave gained casualties.

There are no exact reports of the fatalities yet, and the Taliban have alsonot mentioned their opinion in this regard.
