Federal Minister for Science and Technology, Chaudhry Fawad Hussain, hasrevealed that Pakistan would initiate the indigenous production of solarenergy panels within a year and a half.
During an interview with a local media outlet, the minister said:——————————
We will be able to transform free solar power to the batteries. With therapid technological change, each residential unit will have its separatedomestic powerhouse and size of the battery will reduce with its enhancedpower.
Meanwhile, one time chargeable 1 million-mile batteries are also beingintroduced for electric vehicles that would replace the petrol vehicles inthe country in the years to come.
