Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said Pakistan and China arereliable strategic partners for peace and stability in the region, and thispartnership is growing day by day.
He was talking to his Chinese Counterpart Wang Yi on the sidelines of theShanghai Cooperation Council meeting in Moscow on Thursday.
The Foreign Minister said promotion of regional connectivity, establishmentof peace and stability and enhancing people to people contacts are thecommon objectives of belt and Road Initiative and SCO.
Talking about regional peace, Shah Mahmood Qureshi said a peacefulAfghanistan is essential for regional stability and Pakistan supportsAfghan-led reconciliation talks acceptable to all Afghans.
