ISLAMABAD – Chinese Ambassador Yao Jing says the visit of President XiJinping to Pakistan has been rescheduled due to coronavirus pandemic.
Talking to media in Rawalpindi, he said both governments are working tofinalize new date of the visit, which would be announced soon.
The Ambassador said President Xi Jinping would visit Pakistan on theinvitation of Prime Minister Imran Khan, which he extended during his visitto China.
He said the two countries are aware of the dangers to China-PakistanEconomic Corridor and they would together overcome these dangers.
He said we will not allow the enemies to succeed in their nefarious designsand the CPEC projects will continue on both sides despite the challenge ofCOVID-19.
