On Wednesday, Pakistan successfully test-fired surface-to-surface ballisticmissile (SSBM) Ghaznavi.

In a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), themissile is capable of delivering multiple types of warheads upto a range of290 kilometers.

This training launch was culminating point of Annual Field TrainingExercise of Army Strategic Forces Command.

The training launch was witnessed by Commander Army Strategic ForcesCommand Lieutenant General Muhammad Ali, senior officers from StrategicPlans Division, Army Strategic Forces Command, Scientists and Engineers ofthe strategic organizations.

Commander Army Strategic Forces Command appreciated the operationalpreparedness and display of excellent standard in handling and operatingthe weapon system.

President Dr Arif Alvi, Prime Minister Imran Khan, and the Service Chiefshave praised all ranks of Army Strategic Forces Command on the landmarkachievement.
