President of the United States Joe Biden has directed his administration toconduct a full assessment of the risk of domestic terrorism.

Talking to media, White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki referred to theincident of assault on the Capitol on 6th January by the supports of DonaldTrump and said that the rise of domestic violent extremism is a serious andgrowing national security threat.

She said that we want fact-based analysis, upon which we can shape policy.

Jen Psaki said the assessment will be carried out by the Office of theDirector of National Intelligence in coordination with the FBI andDepartment of Homeland Security.
