ISLAMABAD – China has promised iron brother Pakistan to provide 0.5 milliondoses of its coronavirus vaccine without any charges, Foreign Minister ShahMehmood Qureshi announced on Thursday afternoon.
“I have just finished my call with Chinese foreign minister, and I’m happyto share this news with fellow Pakistanis that China has also promised toprovide an additional 1.1 million doses by the end of February,” theminister told the media, adding that he had discussed with his Chinesecounterpart about a high demand of the COVID-19 shots in the South Asiancountry of over 200 million population.
