PM Imran Khan makes a big demand over the foreign funding case

Prime Minister Imran Khan has called for open hearing of the foreignfunding case of all political parties, including Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaffor clarity of the issue among the masses.

Talking to media persons at Cadet College Wana in South Waziristan, he saidI ask for open hearing or even on live television of the foreign fundingcase with all parties, including PPP, PML-N, JUI-F, and PTI sitting there.

The Prime Minister said the PTI is the pioneer of political fund-raisingcampaign and has all the records of fund donations, including the names of40,000 people.

He regretted that how the funds collected from the oversees Pakistanis,whose remittances are playing a major role in running the country, could bedescribed as foreign funding.

About the gathering of the opposition parties’ alliance outside theElection Commission of Pakistan, Imran Khan said the nation has rejectedtheir nefarious designs and their movement is just a drama to get an NROthrough blackmailing tactics.

Replying to a question, he said with the grace of Allah Almighty, thesituation is improving and despite the COVID-19 pandemic the country’seconomic indicators were showing positive trends, including enhancedexports, positive current account in 17 years and boom in Large ScaleManufacturing sector and textile industry.

To another question, the Prime Minister said that tribal areas, which wereneglected in the past, need our special attention to alleviate poverty andremove unemployment.

He said the government will give special packages to the tribal districtsto ensure developments in these areas.
