ISLAMABAD – Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi received thenon-resident Ambassador of Kosovo to Pakistan, Ilir Dugolli here at theMinistry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday.

The Foreign Minister, while welcoming the Ambassador, expressedsatisfaction at the friendly relations between Pakistan and Kosovo.

During the meeting, strengthening of bilateral relations in particular inthe areas of trade, education and culture remained the focus of thediscussion.The Foreign Minister emphasized the importance of enhancingpeople-to-people contacts between the two countries.

Ambassador Dugolli thanked the Foreign Minister for receiving him andappreciated the solidarity and support extended by the Government andpeople of Pakistan to Kosovo.

He conveyed his Government’s intention to enhance bilateral engagement atvarious levels. The Ambassador also apprised Foreign Minister Qureshi ofKosovo’s perspective on the situation in the region.
