Federal Minister for Aviation Ghulam Sarwar Khan said that PakistanInternational Airlines (PIA) acquired a plane on an expensive lease duringthe tenure of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) term.
Addressing a press conference, he said that PIA will appear before Londoncourt on January 22 and in a Malaysian court on January 24.
He informed the media that PIA failed to pay lease on time due tocoronavirus pandemic but the Malaysian court issued an order withoutlistening to the arguments of the airline.
