Waqar said that any player in the world could suffer a dip in form, and thebest way to regain the form is going back into the domestic circuit andproving your worth. Waqar said that no one is guaranteed a spot in thesquad, and he had to go back to domestic cricket to regain his formmultiple times.
Waqar added that Mohammad Amir is still a world-class bowler, but hisrecent poor form cannot be ignored.
Waqar said that he has been one of the biggest supporters of Mohammad Amirand fought for him with former Chairman PCB, Najam Sethi, for Amir’sinclusion back in the team after serving his five-year sentence forspot-fixing.
