2021 to become a game changer for Made in Pakistan medical equipment

The Federal Minister for Science and Technology, Fawad Chaudhry, hasdeclared 2021 to be a game-changer for ‘Made in Pakistan’ medical machineryand equipment in the healthcare sector, and has revealed that two of thebiggest brands in the world are willing to establish factories in Pakistan.

The federal minister tweeted that although Pakistan had previously beenunable to even manufacture its own syringes, it will now join the ranks ofthe countries that produce the most advanced machinery.——————————

While speaking at the launching ceremony of the ‘Sustainable DevelopmentGoals Wall’ at the Quaid-e-Azam University (QAU) on Wednesday, Chaudhryannounced that Pakistan will manufacture its own x-ray and dialysismachines within the next four to six months.

He stated that Pakistan is becoming self-sufficient in the health sector,and boasted that Pakistanis had once been unable to manufacturethermometers once but today they are making ventilators.——————————

The minister also revealed that the largest health company in the world iscoming to Pakistan as a result of the incumbent government’s prudentpolicies which will help in further the development and growth of thehealth industry.
