Pakistani mission at UN takes another initiative over the Occupied Kashmir cause

Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Ambassador MunirAkram says Kashmir dispute is not just a territorial dispute; It is adispute, which involves the people of Kashmir.

Speaking at the webinar, he said every Pakistani has a deep sense ofcommitment to the cause of Kashmir. He said Pakistan hasre-internationalized the Kashmir issue. He said for the last 15-20 years,the issue was dormant at the United Nations and in international forums.Today it is alive again.

The Ambassador said it is Pakistan, which is the backbone of the Kashmiristruggle. And we must remain united.

The Ambassador further stated that “We all agree on the legitimacy of theKashmiri struggle. We all agree on the massive violations of human rights,which have taken place in Kashmir over the years and especially in therecent past. And we also all agree on the heroism and dedication of theKashmiri people whose third generation is keeping the spirit of resistancealive.
