PM Imran Khan arrived in Quetta to meet families of Hazara Families

QUETTA – Prime Minister Imran Khan on Saturday has arrived in Quetta tomeet bereaved families of the Machh incident as the Hazara community buriedthe slain coal miners.

The prime minister has arrived at Balochistan’s capital on a special flightfrom the Nur Khan airbase.

Federal ministers including Interior Minister Shiekh Rashid areaccompanying the premier.

Earlier today, Funeral prayers of slain miners were offered at the Hazaragraveyard in Quetta.

Deputy Speaker National Assembly Qasim Khan Suri, Special Assistant toPrime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis Zulfiqar Abbas Bukhari, FederalMinister, Ali Zaidi, Provincial Ministers and leaders of differentpolitical parties and a large number of people attended the funeralprayers.

Prime Minister Imran Khan had earlier said that as soon Hazara communitywill bury their martyred community members, he will visit Quetta and meetthem.

Khan on Thursday made an appeal to the bereaved community not to makeburials conditional to his visit, saying that a prime minister could not be“blackmailed” for such a visit.
