Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has invited Japanese investors toinvest in Pakistan in various fields.

Talking to Japanese Ambassador to Pakistan Kuninori Matsuda in Islamabad onThursday, he said all possible facilities will be provided to the investors.

The Minister said there are diverse opportunities to promote bilateralrelations in agriculture, industry, low-cost housing and environmentalprotection.

The Foreign Minister said Pakistan is making all out efforts to promotetourism in the country. He said Pakistan will welcome Buddhist touristsvisiting their holy sites.

He thanked Japanese government and leadership for providing assistance toPakistan during Coronavirus pandemic.

On the occasion, the Japanese Ambassador appreciated Pakistan’s efforts forpeace and stability in the region, including peace in Afghanistan.

He reiterated Japan’s commitment to further expand its ties with Pakistanin diverse sectors.
