Federal cabinet approved a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between theFBI, US and the NAB
The meeting discussed overall economic and political situation of thecountry. It also gave approval on filing treason case under Article 6 ofthe constitution against Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) leader MuftiKifayatullah over his anti-state remarks.

On the other hand, the federal cabinet has extended the service tenure ofthe Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) chairman Javed Ghani.
Javed Ghani was appointed as the chairman of the board on 4 July 2020succeeding Nausheen Javed Amjad.
