Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mahmood Khan says Peshawar-Dera IsmailKhan Motorway Project will usher in a new era of prosperity and developmentin the region besides uplift of southern districts of the province.
Presiding over a meeting in Peshawar on Saturday, he said the project oncompletion will boost trade and economic activities and create jobsopportunities.
The Chief minister directed the concerned authorities to consider allavailable options for most feasible and economical execution of the project.
The meeting was told that 360 kilometer long motorway having six lanes, 19interchanges and seven-kilometer long two tunnels will be constructed inKohat and Karak districts.
It was further informed that the project will be completed at an estimatedcost of 258 billion rupees.
