Pakistani commentator Ramiz Raja expressed his disappointment over MuhammadAmir’s retirement from international cricket at the age of 28. Amir onThursday said that he had no intentions of playing for Pakistan anymore ashe was fed up with the management.
He also added to his statement that, he was being ‘mentally tortured’ bythe management. The left-arm pacer feels unfairly treated, particularly byhead coach, Misbah-ul-Haq and bowling coach, Waqar Younis.

On the other hand, commentator Ramiz Raja called it an untimely exit of a‘potential superstar.’ Turning to the popular social media site Twitter,Ramiz wrote, “Mohammad Amir retires. Sad untimely exit of a potentialsuperstar!”
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) later confirmed Amir’s retirement and saidthat the board respects his decision and no more discussions on hisdecision.
Ramiz Raja took a dig at Amir with his tweet as the pacer reportedlyapplied for a British visa last year. His wife, Narjis Amir currently holdsa UK passport, hence Amir is eligible to get citizenship in England.
