Pakistan strongly hits out against Indian External Affairs Ministry statement

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan said on Saturday that uncovering of Delhi-backeddisinformation campaigns by international researchers showed that India isneither a responsible country nor a democracy.

The Foreign Office in a statement said that India’s tall claims have nolegs to stand on.

It also rejected the Indian Ministry of External Affairs (MEA)’s attempt todeny responsibility for the elaborate and reprehensible globaldisinformation campaign against Pakistan exposed by EU DisinfoLab.

The independent, non-profit disinformation watchdog’s latest reportillustrates in graphic detail the web of more than 750 media in 116countries; over 550 website domain names registered; resurrection of deadpeople; impersonation of EU institutions and direct control of more than 10NGOs accredited to the UN Human Rights Council, utilized for the purpose ofpushing fake news and false Indian propaganda against Pakistan since 2005.
