The Chinese origin third-generation VT4 main battle tank (MBT) made itsfirst public appearance during the Pakistan Day Parade that was held on 25March in Islamabad.
In 2019, Pakistan had placed an order with Inner Mongolia First MachineryGroup Co. Ltd., a subsidiary of China North Industries Group Corporation(NORINCO), for delivering VT4 MBTs.——————————

Last year, Pakistan Army formally confirmed the induction of the state ofthe art VT-4 MBTs in its defensive arsenal during an official ceremony heldat the Field Firing Ranges near Jhelum.About VT-4
Weighing around 52 tons, a VT-4 tank is 10.10 meters long with 3.40 meterswide and 2.30 meters high gun forward. 3 crew members can fit in a VT-4tank which has an operational range of 500 km and a top speed of 70 km/h.
In terms of armament, a VT-4 tank has a 125mm smoothbore cannon capable offiring APFSDS, HESH, HEAT and HE rounds and guided missiles. There is alsoa remote weapon station on its turret armed with a 12.7 mm heavy machinegun.
