Earlier, PCB had made it clear multiple times that they want writtenassurances that the Pakistani contingent will be allowed to travel to thecountry and even approached the International Cricket Council (ICC) toresolve the issue between the two boards. It looks like the BCCI hassuccumbed to the pressure of PCB’s persistence and is set to honor therequest.
According to reports, BCCI has received a guarantee and permission from theIndian government to provide security and grant visas to the people comingfrom Pakistan for the mega event.
