ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan Sunday extended greetings to theHindu community on the occasion of ‘Holi’ – the festival of colours.
‘Wishing all our Hindu community a very happy Holi, the festival ofcolours’, the premier tweeted today.
The popular ancient Hindu festival is celebrated every year in February orMarch and signifies new beginnings by welcoming the spring season. TheHindu community celebrates Holi with a play of colours and also burns logsof wood to symbolise the victory of good over evil and observe prayers.
