NATO would do better to deal with its own problems, Russia’s ForeignMinistry said on Wednesday in response to comments against Moscow by thealliance’s chief.
“Address issues in your member countries. They require urgent intervention:vaccination, the crisis, human rights in NATO countries,” said MariaZakharova, spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry.
“As soon as you resolve them, we will immediately begin to study yourexperience. But only a successful one.”
At a news conference after a meeting of the alliance’s Council of ForeignMinisters earlier in the day, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg saidMoscow allegedly “destabilizes the situation in neighboring countries,”continues to build up military power, and also “suppresses politicaldissent.”
