Pakistan Day Military Parade held in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Day ceremony kicked off with the flypast of PakistanAir Force fighter jets led by Air Chief Zaheer Ahmad Babar Sidhu presentingsalute to President Arif Alvi.

JF-17, F-16, Mirage, AWACs, P-3C Orion and ATR aircraft, and other severaljet fighters displayed their aerial prowess and astonishing aerobicmaneuvers in the flypast.

Pakistan’s military parade, which was postponed on March 23, started nearthe landmark Shakarparian hills in the federal capital.

Contingents of armoured and mechanised infantry, including thetop-of-the-line tanks, a variety of Armoured Personnel Carriers (APC),howitzer guns, radar systems, and other modern weaponry were also rolledout at the parade.

President Arif Alvi, Defence Minister Pervaiz Khattak, Chairman JointChiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) Gen Nadeem Raza attended the ceremony.
