MADINA MUNAWWARA – King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of theTwo Holy Mosques, approved the performing of Taraweeh prayer inMasjid-i-Nabvi (PBUH) during Ramazanul Mubarak.
The holy ‘masjid’ will be closed after a half hour of the Taraweeh and willbe reopened before two hours of the Fajr prayers.
-The total capacity of worshippers in Ramadan will be 60,000 worshippers atone time.As many as 60,000 faithful will be allowed to enter the mosque at a time.Ramazanul Mubarak is expected to start from April 14. Worshippers will beallowed to pray in the masjid, outside and on the roof. It will beregularly inspected.
Saudi Arabia had temporarily suspended Umrah for citizens and residents dueto the coronavirus outbreak.
