Afghanistan’s ambassador to the United Arab Emirates Javid Ahmad has saidAfghan peace talks, now stalled in Qatar, should be rotated to other venues.
Talking to media, he said peace talks should not be held in one fixedlocation, but rotate among venues in Europe, Asia, the Middle East orAfghanistan itself.
He said the Qataris as a host could have played a more active and decisiverole in pushing the Taliban to reduce violence or declare a ceasefire.
