ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Ahsan Iqbal onSaturday came under shoe attack after supporters of the ruling PakistanTehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) clashed with opposition leaders outside theparliament ahead of vote of confidence motion for Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The PML-N leaders including Iqbal, former prime minister Shahid KhaqanAbbasi were holding a press conference outside the parliament when a groupof around 200 PTI supporters surrounded them and started raising slogansagainst them, besides manhandling them.
The situation aggravated when the PML-N leaders also raised retaliatoryslogans. Abbasi also thrashed a member of the group.
