WhatsApp is rolling out a feature that will allow users to create their owncustomized animated stickers. The feature is said to be rolling out inBrazil, India and Indonesia.
A report by WhatsApp feature tracker, WABetaInfo mentions a third party appcalled ‘Sticker Maker’ which will allow users to create static and animatedsticker packs to be imported to WhatsApp which can then be sent to contacts.
“You can start using the Sticker Maker app to create your own customanimated stickers for WhatsApp on iOS and Android, in Brazil, India andIndonesia,” said the website WABetaInfo.
Earlier, WABetaInfo had reported that WhatsApp finally enables the abilityto import custom animated sticker packs into the app after several monthsof delays.
“The team is currently launching the feature for users in Brazil, India andIndonesia and compatible versions,” added website.

Moreover, the process to create and import an animated sticker pack ismostly the same as it was with static stickers.
To use the feature, users just need to download the app to create a stickerpack by picking a video or GIF from the camera roll after which the appwill automatically convert it to a webpage file that can be imported intoWhatsApp.
