Karachi: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) arrested a terroristassociated with the banned Sindh Revolutionary Army (SRA), from a bus stopnear the Mosamiat Chowrangi on the University Road in Karachi.
A CTD spokesperson informed that the apprehended accused was wanted inmultiple cases of facilitating attacks on Rangers, as well as planning totarget Chinese engineers’ van and August 14 Independence rallies and stallslast year.
“Hand grenades have been seized from the suspect,” spokesperson added.
The spokesperson further stated that teams have been constituted comprisingofficials of CTD and federal sensitive agency to arrest his accomplices.

The suspect has been taken into custody and is being questioned. An FIR hasbeen registered as well.
