Recent reports have revealed that the Elantra is set to hit the HyundaiNishat dealerships across Pakistan very soon. One of the highly anticipatedcars, Elantra is a compact family sedan that will take on the likes ofHonda Civic and Toyota Corolla.
According to our source, Hyundai has already assembled a handful of unitsof the Elantra Sedan and is planning to put it up for sale in the firstquarter of 2021.
It has also been reported that Elantra shall come with a 1.6-liternaturally aspirated 4-cylinder petrol engine that makes 122 hp and 156Newton Meters of torque, and a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automaticgearbox.
The vehicle was also displayed at the PAPS Autoshow in Lahore in its 6thgeneration facelift earlier last year. It bears mentioning here that the7th generation made its debut in several international markets late lastyear. However, Pakistan shall be receiving the 6th generation facelift,which was revealed earlier last year.
