South African Pacer Dale Steyn, who will be playing for Quetta Gladiators,has landed in Karachi.
According to the details, he will be available for the franchise afternecessary testing and quarantine due to the health protocols devised tocurb the coronavirus spread.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) earlier said in a statement that Steyn will beunavailable due to a family engagement. The statement added that the SouthAfrican fast bowler is expected to reach Karachi on 22 February.
As a replacement, Gladiators had included young all-rounder Hasan Khan inthe squad. The team played its first match in the tournament opener againsttitle defenders Karachi Kings on Saturday.
Today, Lahore Qalandars and Quetta Gladiators are playing against eachother at National Stadium (Karachi) in the fourth match of the PakistanSuper League (PSL) 2021.
Both teams will play their second match of the sixth edition of thecountry’s biggest cricket event. The match will start at 7 pm.
