Prime Minister Imran Khan said on Sunday that the industrial sector isshowing sustained growth, which is good news.
According to the details, in a facebook post today, the Country’s PrimeMinister said that a large scale manufacturing saw another double digitgrowth of 11.4 percent in December last year as compared to the same monthprevious year.
The Prime Minister said the cumulative growth from July to December lastyear is above eight percent now.
Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan, citing reports, said that as comparedto Pakistan’s exports, exports of India and Bangladesh showed negativegrowth in November and December 2020.
The prime minister tweeted, “I have received the regional export trends andthis shows that, compared to our exports, the exports of India andBangladesh for Nov/Dec 2020 showed negative growth. I wish once again tocongratulate the exporters and the Ministry of Commerce for thisachievement”.
Statistics were also uploaded on his twitter account, which showedPakistan’s exports in November and December last year were 8.32 percent and18.30 percent, respectively, while those of India were -9.07 per cent and-0.80 per cent, whereas Bangladesh’s were 0.76 per cent and -6.11 per centfor the same period.
