ISLAMABAD – Thanking his Sri Lankan counterpart Mahinda Rajapaksa forvisit invitation, Prime Minister Imran Khan on Saturday said he is lookingforward to his upcoming visit to Sri Lankalink that will further strengthen thefriendship and cooperation between the two countries, Imran Khan said in atweet.
Prime Minister Imran Khan, along with a high level delegation of cabinetmembers and senior officials, will embark on a two-day official visit to SriLanka link from February 23.
During the visit, views will be exchanged with the Sri Lankan leadership onbilateral matters, as well as key regional and international issues.
On Friday, a statement issued by the Foreign Office said that Imran Khanwould visit Sri Lanka link from Feb 23to 24.

This will be Mr Khan’s first visit to Sri Lankalink after assuming the office of primeminister.
“During the visit, the reconstitution of the Sri Lanka-PakistanParliamentary Friendship Association will be announced to further promoteparliamentary exchanges between the two countries,” the statement said.
The prime minister will also participate in a joint ‘Trade and InvestmentConference’.
A number of memorandums of understanding to enhance bilateral cooperationwill also be signed during the visit.
