The US President Joe Biden has announced an end to support for offensiveoperations in Yemen and a freeze on troop redeployments from Germany,reversing two Trump administration policies.
He announced this in his first major foreign policy address at the StateDepartment and recommitted to global alliances and internationalinstitutions including the World Health Organization.
Biden said that he was ending US support for the military offensive inYemen, calling it a humanitarian and strategic catastrophe.
