Four terrorists were killed during exchange of fire with the securityforces in a compound in Mir Ali area of North Waziristan district.
According to ISPR, the terrorists opened fire as the troops cordoned offthe area following the security forces observed their presence in acompound.
The killed terrorists were involved in kidnapping for ransom, extortion,fire raids on security forces and improvised explosive device explosions.

During the conduct of operation, two security forces personnel includingNaib Subedar Amin Ullah and Sepoy Sher Zamin embraced shahadat while fourothers soldiers got injured.
