A report by US Congress has called on the Biden administration to delay thepulling of all US troops from Afghanistan as it may lead to destabilizingthe region and reviving the al Qaeda threat.
The report by Afghanistan Study Group said the United States should notabandon the Afghan peace process rather should make troops cut contingenton progress in peace talks, reduction in violence by the Taliban andcontaining al Qaeda.
The Afghanistan Study Group is commissioned by US Congress and has sharedthe report with the aides to President Joe Biden.
