Russia link foreign ministry said Tuesdaythat US President Joe Biden link and a dozenother top officials had been banned from entering the country in areciprocal response to US sanctions.
The measure, which also applies to Secretary of State Antony Blinken andDefense Secretary Lloyd Austin, “is the consequence of the extremelyRussophobic policy pursued by the current US administration”, the Russianforeign ministry said in a statement.
In response to Russia link militaryintervention in Ukraine, the United States banned Russian PresidentVladimir Putin and Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov as well as adoptingsanctions that have largely cut Russia linkfinancially from the rest of the world.
Russia link also put on its stop listChairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley, National SecurityAdvisor Jake Sullivan, Central Intelligence Agency Director William Burnsand White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki.
Also on the list are Deputy National Security Advisor Daleep Singh, USAgency for International Development chief Samantha Power, Deputy TreasurySecretary Adewale Adeyemo, and US Export-Import Bank chief Reta Jo Lewis.
Russia link also banned from entry Bidenlink son Hunter and former secretary ofstate and Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
The foreign ministry warned Moscow will soon announce additional sanctionsagainst a range of “Russophobic” US officials, military officers,lawmakers, businessmen and media personalities.
