On the request of Ukraine, Government of Pakistan is sending humanitarianassistance for people of Ukraine.

These humanitarian assistance include a emergency medicines,electro-medical equipment, winter bedding and food items.

Two special C-130 flights are being sent to deliver more than 15 tons ofhumanitarian assistance items for the Ukrainian people.

The relief items were handed over to Ukrainian Ambassador by ForeignMinister Shah Mahmood Qureshi.

Speaking on the occasion, The Foreign Minister said that Pakistan hasalways acted promptly alongside international community for responding tointernational calls for assistance during conflicts and calamities, as aresponsible and peace loving nation. He said this gesture shows thatPakistan is a peace loving nation and we urge both the countries to showrestraint to save precious human lives.
