Pakistan and Argentina have identified multiple areas to increase bilateraltrade and investment in the next couple of years and Joint Trade andInvestment Commission is working to enhance bilateral cooperation indiverse sectors.
This was stated by the Ambassador of Argentina to Pakistan LeopoldoFrancisco Sahores during an exclusive interview with News and CurrentAffairs Channel of Radio Pakistan.
The Ambassador said a number of Argentinian companies are keen to invest indiverse sectors including agriculture, livestock, and Pharmaceuticals.
He said that his country is ready to assist and help Pakistan to increaseper acre yield of different crops, particularly essential commoditiesthrough modern techniques and variety of seeds.
He said that Argentina is helping Pakistan to build new modern Silos topreserve and store grains for a long time to meet the growing need ofpopulation in the country.
The Argentinian Ambassador said that both countries enjoy identical viewson regional and international issues besides commonalities at all fora.
In reply to a question, Leopoldo Francisco Sahores said Pakistan has a hugepotential of investment in many sectors and Argentina is ready to exploitthis through mutual agreement and for the benefit of both countries.
He said that both countries are working to increase high level exchanges tofurther boost their existing cooperation and collaboration in differentfields.
The envoy said Pakistan played a vital role for peace and stability inAfghanistan and also contributing significantly for humanitarian assistancein the war-torn country.
He said peace and stability in Afghanistan is imperative not only forPakistan but also for entire region to increase trade and development.
